For devotees of the acclaimed Mass Effect franchise, there’s now more to look forward to than merely the next game in the series. The recently revealed Gaming Heads Garrus statue looks to be another meticulously crafted addition to the company’s stable of high-end, video game-inspired collectibles, that should leave hardcore fans of Bioware’s science fiction role-playing saga giddy with anticipation.
Standing 21” in height, Gaming Heads’ upcoming Mass Effect figure is an uncanny quarter scale recreation of the Turian warrior, Garrus Vakarian, captured with all the authentic trappings and remarkable detail that collectors have come to expect. Although the statue’s form isn’t final just yet, the sculpt and painted finish appear to be realistically fashioned with particular attention put toward faithfully recreating the C-Sec officer’s armor and weaponry.
As with similar releases, Gaming Heads is offering both standard and exclusive editions of the Garrus figure. In addition to being limited to only 500 pieces (vice 1000 for the standard edition), the latter comes with an additional weapon that can be swapped out for an alternate display.
The Gaming Heads Garrus statue isn’t expected to ship until later in the year but collectors can pre-order the standard or exclusive version now for $329.99 USD or $349.99 USD, respectively.
