Funko’s latest Star Wars Smuggler’s Bounty bi-monthly subscription box is dedicated to the highly anticipated addition to the cinematic “galaxy far, far, away”, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Inside the familiar cardboard Smuggler’s Bounty carton, subscribers will find a truly delectable assortment of exclusive wearable and displayable swag inspired by the all-new Star Wars film. As with last year’s inaugural Episode VII box, its arrival is aptly timed to pique the interest of eager fans. Standard items include a Funko Pop! tee shirt, patch (based on Rebel Alliance officer, Captain Cassian Andor), and pin (featuring the likeness of the reprogrammed Imperial-turned-Rebel enforcer droid, K-2SO).
However, the most exciting additions are the trio of Smuggler’s Bounty-exclusive collectible figures nestled alongside of the other Star Wars-themed articles. Among them is the debut piece in Funko’s (4-inch tall) Mini Hikari line-up, is a stylized Darth Vader figure that is randomly assigned in a range of colors (including black, blue, red, silver, and gold). Pop! fanatics are apt to be doubly delighted by the box’s pair of exclusive bobble-heads based on the heavily armed Imperial Death Trooper, and Rogue One’s intrepid Rebel leader, Jyn Erso. Rounding out the list of goodies is an information card that describes the design and development of the items that ultimately made it into the box.
